Our Story
Led by Real Classroom Experience
Founded by Richard Poth, CEO of AtTech Edu Limited, Learning Experience Designer, and EdTech Strategist, AtTech Edu was born out of a genuine passion for transforming teaching and learning. Starting as a primary school teacher in the early 2000s, Richard has spent over 20 years leading digital learning strategy, classroom coaching, and educator training across the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea.
Over the years, the mission expanded from simply teaching IT skills to architecting whole-school transformations, safe AI adoption, and custom digital platforms. We believe that technology shouldn't just be an "add-on" or a digital worksheet; it should be the beating heart of transdisciplinary projects, from Geography to Mathematics.

Bridging Pedagogy, AI & Interactive Design
As Founder and CEO of AtTech Edu Limited and AtTech Studios, Richard combines over two decades of hands-on classroom leadership across the UK and Asia with full-stack educational app development and multimedia production. Rather than relying on static slide decks, Richard designs interactive browser-based learning tools, GDPR-compliant AI workflows, and whole-school transdisciplinary curricula.
Alongside coaching senior leadership teams and teachers in person, Richard is the creator behind the @mrpothy YouTube channel and custom platforms including DigiFolio (digifolio.uk) and AtTech 360 Tours (attech360.co.uk). Bringing 30+ years of live stage and theatrical craft to every keynote and INSET day, he makes complex technology approachable, inclusive, and inspiring for every educator.

The "Flip the Pen" Philosophy
In a 21st-century learning environment, the traditional pen and paper should no longer be the primary drafting tool. We teach schools how to empower students to create, edit, and collaborate dynamically using technology first, utilizing the pen as a tool for final presentation rather than rough drafting.
